Second-time-around

Cyclist and pigeons

I couldn’t choose between the cyclist on the harbour wall or the pigeons on another section of the wall, so I chose both. The pigeons seemed oblivious of the people all around.  The cyclist seemed unaware of how close he was to going over the edge!

The tourists have arrived! At 10 am there was only one free parking space at Charlestown, and at 11 am Tesco was packed. You can pick out the tourist families because they are the ones standing in groups blocking the aisles while they loudly discuss which meals they will be having on which day. You would think they could work that out while they are sitting in traffic jams on the way down here, she thought intolerantly! It’s just that families in groups seem totally unaware that there is anyone else trying to move along!

Endless days of sun are forecast, so I can look forward to not being able to park near any beaches. Though I'm hoping, as more people are now going abroad (to find the sun!) that Cornwall won't be quite so busy this year.
