I had a quick visit to the Art Gallery today. I was reading this letter and got a surprise when I realised I knew the man that it was written to. My husband used to work with him in a different Night Centre to the one in the letter.
It's a small world as I bumped into some friends just outside the Gallery and discovered one of them had also worked with George. I was then at the Library and bumped into a friend from work who I discovered had applied for the artist's job who had sent the letter!
