Scorched Earth one year later
In August 2022 had a big wildfire, see my blip entries here and here.
Today I visited the same area again, the weather was great, not to much wind, so a bike ride it would be.
At first I came through hundreds of metres of tree trunk piles, left and right of the path. And then came what you see in my blipfoto.
The area still looks quite the same as one year ago. All the wood piled up is not nearly the half of what is still out there.
At least the soil is not completely black anymore, but moss and other green plants are coming back again. Slowly!
There are still some puddles, dark, nearly black, but most of them have gone.
Nature needs its time to recover from this desaster.
