Ignoring the protest

I disturbed the black cormorant drying its wings on the boardwalk. It flied up to the top of the gazebo where there were  only standing space among the seagulls. Despite the protest from the seagulls, it stood his ground to dry his wings and the seagulls are not moving any inch except with the chorus of protest.
