Starvation Reservoir, Utah

There was a time today when we thought "starvation " was going to be an appropriate outcome. Our planned camp through the Harvest Host scheme all went wrong, so we've ended up at Fred Hayes State Park for the night. 
Turned out to be a fine alternative. We have gone away for the long weekend with young C (Monday being Memorial Day), and he's happy wherever there's water and rocks and sand. 
Was windy and cold at times this afternoon, but a beautiful evening, sitting around a fire and watching the sun go down.
