Early morning we glided gracefully into Southampton Port. I wondered if getting 5000 passengers off a cruise ship would be a nightmare but it was so well organised and all went very smoothly. Taxi back to the car park then tedious drive home as it’s a bank holiday weekend and beginning of half term it seemed the world wanted to drive down to the south-west!
Unpacked, first washing out on the line and the next in the machine so we went for a walk (and a coffee) at Chesil Cove, followed by a trip to the supermarket to get a few essentials.
