At Hay: How the light gets in....x

The howthelightgetsin festival that runs alongside the Hay Festival. I say alongside, but it is completely separate. Hay festival is, as you already know, a literacy festival. The other is a wonderful collection of tents, very bohemian.Set up like a small tribal village. In here you find the beautiful acoustic artist, Katrin O'Neil singing a story about a cider drinker. Her voice, celtic roots I think.

We sit, warming ourselves, out of the rain. The raindrops on the tent roof drumming to the sound of the music. The children, Freya and Ella listen to katrin's story. The music, naturally settling. It amazing how music entrances children for a short while.
