Change of plans

We had a babysitter and were going to a gig in Edinburgh tonight - No Means No - old Canadian punk band, but were a bit worried about driving the the car into the city without an Mot (booked in for its retest tomorrow). So we went for a hillwalk, followed by a pint in the local instead. Not very punk rock, but what a fantastic evening we had. Sometimes forget what's on our doorstep. 3 hours of fantastic scenery on a beautiful evening and we didn't see a soul. Jumping streams, scrambling across slime covered rocks above big drops, walking beneath 100ft waterfalls.... The rat was well and truly fed tonight.
