Caught in the act
We’ve enjoyed today’s sunshine, sitting out in the garden to have both our morning coffee and our lunch. We haven’t attempted to go out in the car because the cycling event RideLondon-Essex is taking place today and our High Road and other local roads are closed all day, so there is congestion everywhere else. However, we’re off to visit our middle son and his family shortly, which we can do without too much difficulty as they live fairly close by and are not affected by the road closures.
I’ve spent some time this afternoon trying to get shots of some small blue butterflies which were flitting around the garden and alighting on the green alkanet but didn’t do very well; I need to practise a lot more! So you will have to make do with this shot taken first thing this morning of our fox, with fat ball crumbs round his mouth from where he’s been scavenging underneath the bird feeders.
