Cross Bay Walk

No 1 son arrived yesterday afternoon after a good train journey. We went out to the Masons Arms for dinner and it was a lovely evening.

Today we embarked on the cross bay walk from Arnside to Grange. Over 8 miles. It was great fun, well attended and the weather was glorious.

By the time we reached Grange, I was desperate for the loo. Fortunately it was a NGS weekend and one of the garden owners allowed me the use of his facilities. I was then able to enjoy the blackcurrant cordial he had made.

No 2 son is en route and will join us for dinner this evening.
