Beach and boats, River Thames

A sunny day but still a chilly wind. 

Phone call from two friends, breakfast and then K called for me and we drove to Leigh on Sea. Had a walk through the town, coffee and then walked down to the beach. Took this shot when we were sitting on a bench, quite a lot of families sitting on the beach and children playing in the paddling pool. The tide was out and as I used to say as a child "the boats were bent"!
This afternoon we went round to a friends, sat enjoying wine, cheese, biscuits, olives plus strawberries and some lovely sweet biscuits. Great time.
