Elfreth's Alley

The reason for our trip east was to attend my 50th college reunion at Arcadia University in suburban Philadelphia (No, I'm not really that old! Or at least I don't feel like it). Philadelphia is a very historic city: Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Declaration of Independence...so we took advantage of the opportunity to take a DUCK tour of the old city and Penn's Landing on the Delaware River in one of those amphibious vehicles or DUCKs.

Cobblestone streets and barely enough room for one modern car to squeeze through Elfreth's Alley. Times have changed!
