The Dolomite Mountains

We stashed our bikes in the hotel garage and are hiking and yodeling in the Dolomites. We are staying in Castelrotto and it feels like we are in Austria, not Italy. And in fact, it is Austrian in every way, except that it is Italy due to a political deal made after WW1. We took a chairlift up into the mountains, then hiked higher up to get to the incredible alpine meadows.
