Pentecost
At church today we marked Pentecost, the symbols of which are wind and flames and simultaneous interpretation (or at least being able to be understood in any language).
For the children this involved windmills, candles, phrase books and bubbles. The latter were used outside in the garden and I managed to get this one as it floated past on a gentle breeze and not a rushing wind!
This evening I caught up by video call with a school friend who has had a brief spell in hospital. Now home and doing well so was good to hear his news.
