Walk at Lake Padden

We headed East this afternoon for our walk. Our usual places were swarming with people. Today was Bellingham’s big event of the year, the Ski to Sea relay race. It ends in Fairhaven where we live. The last leg starts at Zuanich Park and goes past Boulevard Park. We knew those places would be mobbed as was Fairhaven. So we headed up the hill to Lake Padden. Theee were people there but very few for a Sunday. So we had a peaceful walk and an easy drive home. No worries about parking either. We parked in my driveway as usual.
