Bonjour France

... Unfortunately, the French flag is about the only thing we have managed to see today.  The weather has not cooperated, and it has been too windy and the swells have been too big to safely operate our Zodiacs in order to get ashore at Belle Ile and Quiberon in Brittany.

Fingers crossed tomorrow will be kinder to us, when we attempt a landing at Concarneau! 

We did see an absolutely beautiful ship at anchor off Belle Ile this morning -- The Sea Cloud Spirit -- however, I only had my cell phone with me at the time, and it takes horribly grainy pictures, so I've made another "watercolour" as an extra.
