Metaphor of the day: ring doughnut

While the rest of you are sunning yourself on a Bank Holiday Monday, I'm inside an MRI scanner.

For those of you unfamiliar, it resembles this doughnut (although a lot larger... obviously). Imagine the coconut flakes are spinning magnets and the jam is me, then you've got it.

It makes a noise like the Dr Who theme tune.

I managed not to cough... hooray!
