Another day and one more flower

I think the Iris Sibirica is one of my favourite flowers.  Unfortunately it doesn't last very long so I need to celibrate its appearance in the garden.  

I was going to use my practice abstract (now in extra), which I created after Glenys talked me through her way of creating the abstract shapes that she made of the 6th form college.  Whereas  I ended up cropping to get my abstract shapes, she literally gets the shapes she wants in camera.  I could do it with my neighbours conservatory as I was quite close, but I don't think I had the right lens for the job on the day we visited Barnsley.  I'm going to have to make a decision about cameras as My Canon lenses are just too heavy!
