Fields of Buttercups

One of the lovely things about early Summer in the Lakes is the countless fields of Buttercups. We did jobs round the house all day, including moving one of our garden sheds to a different part of the garden, which of course involved emptying it first.

Took a walk up to Castlerigg Stone Circle this evening, via a little footpath off the A591 - lovely and quiet with views across the fields. Of course Castlerigg was packed as it's a bank holiday weekend and half term.
