After the free wooden arch rotted away I was still reticent to get a nasty black tubular steel thing. I said let’s get a better solid steel one for £150 from a local supplier. Then I thought - I could buy a welder and the steel for £150 and make one and have a welder. Then I thought I could buy some 15mm copper water pipe and a load of Ts and make one for £70. So that’s what I did. Coated it in a mixture of salt, vinegar and bleach hoping it’ll turn green.
