My attempt at Giverny!!

I've always loved Monet's paintings of his garden in Giverny and this is my little attempt to copy it! The iris are lit by the setting sun and look better then than in strong daytime sunlight. I just wish iris lasted a bit longer, they seem to come and go in a flash. And oh dear it has been cold again today especially as the sun hardly showed it's face. But we braved an outside party in my friend's garden to welcome her home from Australia. I just wish I'd taken a coat or even a blanket!!!
