Proud

I know it is one of the 7 deadly sins but I couldn't help but be proud of my children who each came home with a letter informing me they would be receiving certificates of merit. These are awarded if 12 or more of their 15 teachers nominate them. It isn't just about academic ability it is about how they behave and work in the class, eg always having a positive attitude and it they have improved, essentially for doing as well as they can.improvement.
