The Wishing Well and Water Gardens

I had a hair appointment in Poundbury but as P had to be in work later we decided to visit the Watergardens at Upwey . It was a delightful place ( we’d never been before) . The cafe has a lovely traditional feel but the gardens were such a surprise- lots of hidden nooks and crannies with the water bordering the gardens and tripping through them . I’d seen signs for well dressing but it wasn’t like Derbyshire- more a fresco idea to raise awareness for ocean waters . 

We also visited a pottery exhibition next door with friendly, and gently eccentric potters . All wonderful- we really enjoyed it . Also lots of plants for sale in aid of the Samaritans .
