i used the blue badge for the first time today
i parked within staggering distance to the surgery for my blood test
then was able to use double yellows to pick up my prescriptions
and double yellows again to pick up the Radish weekly chicken from the butcher.
but it would be better if i didn't need this help. 
i feel embarrassed that i do.
