Southerness

We left today to have an overnight stay in the campervan. I had booked a pitch  at Lighthouse leisure park in Southerness near Drumfries.
We got quite  a shock  when  we arrived as we didn't know it was a large static caravan park and people were sitting about at tables outdoors at two pubs drinking and dressed as if they were at the Costa Brava. Just not what we were expecting. We checked in and found the pitch but to our horror it was beside a bar and music thing was on and the noise was horrendous.  This was about 3 in the afternoon
We put the little tent up as R and Magnus were sleeping in that and then we went off to get peace and quite while we had our dinner. We found a nice garden   that was so peaceful.   We were not looking forward to going back but when we returned the music had stopped --well almost but it was inside the bar and not so loud. We managed to get a good night's sleep.
