Tipuana Tipu Tree Helicopter Seeds
The Tipuana Tipu tree has been planted as a shade tree for a long time here in Perth. Native to Bolivia and Brazil they have apparently spread to many parts of the world these days. They have millions of helicopter seeds which bank up in drains and grates everywhere causing all sorts of havoc when the rains finally come. I find the seeds quite fascinating ; )
In extras is the stairwell of the hotel where we had dinner tonight plus some artwork in the dining room, lovely stained glass window caught my eye.
We’ve been out for an impromptu dinner and then on to a concert which our employee Isaac was participating in. It was atmospheric ambient music and very interesting, not something I’ve ever seen before.
Its late so I’ll try and catch up tomorrow night ; )xxx
