Bath time

No wonder I have to keep refilling the bird bath.
Yesterday when we got home from Art I had a phonemail asking if I was at home because my cousin , who lives in Essex was at Culloden viewing a property . We had planned to look again at flooring but of course changed tactic. I checked the en suite was clean with fresh towels  and he arrived within half an hour. 
it makes you realise how fortunate we are to have fridges and freezers and able to rustle up a decent meal . It was lovely to see him and catch up .  He left a short time ago and hopes to stop overnight somewhere in the lake district. 
We all enjoyed watching several birds enjoying a cool bath in this hot weather, This blackie  fairly splashed around (see extra)!
