Steps to the Rocks

with a Magpie Lark (or Murray Magpie or Peewee.. whatever) strutting about. Cheeky fellow and not at all afraid of Ruby who is right next to me.

We had reason to go to Port Elliot this afternoon and did the evening walk along the beach above the rocky shore. Took some pics of Ruby excavating Green Bay but the light had gone by then and they didn't turn out so good. Met a couple locals (known from the old Seabreeze Silver Shop days) so the walk took a bit longer than anticipated. Nice to stop and chat in such a beautiful place.

Apparently two whales were seen this morning in the area.
