Twilight

Does anyone remember the song "Twilight" by ELO that features on their "Time" album?? Just wondering.

G & I have just had a discussion on the difference between "dusk" and "Twilight". G reckons it is the spelling. A quick Google search revealed this: Twilight is the period between sunset and dusk. During twilight, there is still light in the sky. There are three types of twilight: civil, nautical and astronomical. Dusk is the point when the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon, and there is no longer any sunlight in the sky. Who knew?

Whatever it is, it is my favourite time of day to take pictures, and today, after a full day at work, we walked around Wafi for exercise and were treated to this scene just before we went for dinner to Biella. The large pyramid-shaped building is Raffles Hotel, which we discovered today, has a connecting area to the Mall. Nice! There are a lot of jewellery and art shops near this entrance.
