Bold Wind

On a beautiful evening, as the sun starts to set, I watch this extraordinary vessel moving gracefully into Portsmouth harbour. It is a German ship called Boldwind, laden with propellers for wind turbines, the first time I have seen them being transported this way. 

This has Portsmouth in the background as the blip is taken from the deck of the Santoña Ferry headed for Santander. This is one of Brittany Ferries new acquisitions and it’s so smart and clean. M and I will be in the mountains of Andalucia for a bit of a Spanish summer sojourn. We’re off again:-)) Hope the wind won’t be too bold though.
