Living in Luxury
After Mike had got back from submitting some papers for our building project in the Finances in town, we went off to São Lourenço do Barrocal. Had coffees on a patio, watching small children being led around on gorgeous ponies, with their proud parents following, taking photos - such a picture of privilege.
Then we walked the 7km walk round the estate, by which time the bar was open, where Diogo (in extra) expertly mixed us some drinks, followed by a delicious light lunch - mine was a mushroom burger, with four small balls of ice-cream for afters, the most flavourful was a lemon and basil.
That took us to late afternoon, so we came home and had a nap, and now we're about to have some pizza I've made from stale bread and other leftovers.
Gratefuls:
- Diogo, he was such a joy, and loved having Leyna tell him what numbers he was - 1, with 4 in the background
- Aperol spritz (on the left in the extra), my third ever, but possibly the best so far, made with good champagne
- singing parabéns to Edilson on his 40th, what a guy!
