No shortage of action.
I woke to the sound of the bin men collecting the contents of the blue bins and bags, that was just after 8am, they start early round here.
We then had a series of visits from tradespeople. As I entered our bedroom late morning I heard the sound of an aircraft and managed to get a shot of this aircraft heading away from us. It is a Comet170. PlaneFinder said it was flying at 200 ft, sounds very low, but it was over open countryside. The next activity was the farmer spraying his crop.
We headed over to Dunelm in Stoke this afternoon to return the lounge lights that don’t match. The staff were extremely helpful and quickly refunded our money and tried to order more for us, but they are out of stock. We had a wander round the store and bought some of the odds and ends on the ‘need’ list. It was a straightforward trip and the store easy to find. There was a minor detour in Stoke on the way home. The road was blocked with a fire engine, ambulance and police cars. No idea of what the incident was.
It was a much cooler day, but the sun shone this evening and it warmed up.
