He Just Keeps Getting Cuter

Whiskers took a detour from our yard to the neighbors'.  I hope he intends to come home unless that is his home and he was just visiting.  The blue jay came back for more peanuts and Mrs. Cardinal visited along with a house finch.  I'm picking up a few credentials in bird ID but I have a long way to go.

I'm taking Laurie to the surgery center in the morning for her hand surgery.  She had part of the same surgery I had only hers didn't go so well and the doctor has to try and fix it.  She will have to have surgery on her right hand as well so I'm glad I'll be around to help her.  It's very hard to be without your dominant hand for several months.  I'm sorry to say that my right hand is not completely back to 100% -- in fact, it's not even at 75% but I keep doing my exercises and hope to strengthen it in time.  I had a lovely hand therapist in Washington.  Wish I could have brought her along to Indiana!
