Queen of the Hedgerow

I was too tired to drive home from York yesterday so had a very welcome day of doing naff all. Today I really do have to head home.
On his walk with Albi my son Joe found a May tree with deep pink double flowers, I’ve never seen this before. It’s really beautiful and must be a garden escapee. The tree looks pretty sorry for itself, there’s not much growth on it but what a treat to find this.
Back to the winter jumpers today!
