Seaside Renedvouz

Early June, yet the once bustling seaside resort of Salthill was strangely quiet today (although the city itself was very busy thanks to the Volvo boat Race, which ends tomorrow). Even the fairground rides sat sadly silent in the cool afternoon. We drove through on our way home from town and discussed who we were to vote for in the Local and European elections that were held today. I don't know, as I don't know any of the candidates or what they stand for. So it's going to be the usual lottery of who looks the strangest, and vote for them!
