We Didn't Start The Fire

Today we drove to see the northern part of Evia, including Loutra Epidsou, the spa utilising the sulphuric warm springs in the location. These springs were utilised for health purposes already more than 2000 years ago.

The most spectacular memories we got from seeing the vast areas burnt down in the forest fires in 2021. In only two years nature has started its own healing processes with the ground vegetation and bushes growing. Still the charred tree trunks dominate the landscape.
