Amethyst

The girls went to the childminders today so I could have a rest and they could play with their friends.  I didn't really rest though, I tidied up the lounge and sorted out all their craft supplies while listening to podcasts.  Quite an enjoyable and satisfying morning.  It took me 4 hours but has made a huge difference and looks much tidier.  

I picked the girls up early and brought them home for dinner.  My friend Rachel popped round with her children, they played and we had a coffee outside.  It was very nice to see her.  While she was here another friend, Dena, knocked on the door with a little gift for me.  A beautiful amethyst necklace with a lovely note.  I will treasure it. 

Then the hot tub man arrived - I hired a hot tub for the weekend for the girls.  We had one before and they loved it.  Hours of fun in the garden to come and I can have some of their friends over while safely sitting outside.
