Gulls Nesting

It's a while since I have spent time down at the harbour photographing the seagulls and shags but I had forgotten how tricky lighting conditions could be with the white plumage of the birds and the guano splashed around their nesting sites. Today it was particularly difficult because there a monotone whitish grey sky so it was impossible to isolate the birds against this backdrop. I was ashamed to come away with maybe only about a dozen reasonable shots.
