Don't Panic

Could be today's motto. Trip into town to let a colleague into the machine room to install a new server. While we were there we spotted an angry flashing light. Resetting the riser card sorted that problem (once we had figured out that somebody actually screwed the servers to the rack so that they didn't slide out). Trip to various parts of town for some shopping.

This evening our phone rang very angrily. We all got an emergency message advising us to stay inside and keep the doors and windows shut due to a huge fire in a paper depot. Good to know the system works.
