Oxeye Daisies

or Moon Daisies as they are also known.  These are gazing at the sun, there are a lot of them on the wild patch over the hedge behind the house.  They are called Moon Daisies as the moon reflects its light on the flowers so they seem to glow.

The lane opposite us is closed for twelve days as the Council keep trying to stop the spring water flowing onto the road from the hill but they are never successful and there is only a trickle.  So now we have a lot of traffic racing along the top lane around the blind bends in the diversion.  It can be quite dangerous and frightening driving to town.
