Eviva Valencia

It was our last day in Valencia so we made the most of it by getting up early and finishing off our packing. The owner of our flat let us leave our luggage there until late afternoon. Mr P was keen to visit another Spanish artist’s house, garden and studio (now a permanent collection) so we walked there and back through the Turia gardens in the morning. Very hot today. It was registering 34° at one point. Too hot for us!
After lunch and then coffee and cake, we set off to the airport. We landed in a sunny and warm Edinburgh. Let’s hope we haven’t missed the Scottish summer as it sounds like the weather has been better here than in Spain! We had planned to spend the night with son no 1 in Leith, but as we had so much luggage, our friend John kindly picked us up at the airport. Back in Peebles now. Good to be home.
