Big scratch

Left the hotel at 7 to go back to Grand Prismatic spring to see if the weather and steam would be better but the sun wouldn’t come out for us. Stop off on the way to take some photos of Bison by the side of the road and was greeted to a large bull bison in the car park when we arrived. Headed to biscuit basin after that to have a look around in the sun instead of the rain like yesterday. Quick stop at black thumb basin to finish off most of the things around Old Faithful. Back to the hotel to check out before going to the visitor’s centre and doing some retail therapy. Head over to lake Yellowstone for our hotel tonight. Stopped off at Kepler Cascades on the way which were very impressive before having lunch. Next stop was West thumb basin, which was nice but not great apart from one pool. J went into the shop and came out with a new board game, not sure how we are going to get it back with the baggage weight. Checked into the hotel and had a few hour downtime to catch up on photos and washing before going for an early dinner. Dinner was OK but the staff aren’t trained that well and it was overprices as expected. Managed to find a couple of small tables near our room so we could sit down and have a drink and play another game of Peruke.
