3077. Morning Sun….

We had an earlier breakfast on the balcony this morning as the sun was just coming up.  We can see the sea from our balcony but it mainly overlooks some residential housing behind us.

Took a short drive down the hill this morning and parked the car at Lidl so we could just walk down to the board walk along the beach at the front.  We walked a good distance then stopped for a cold drink.  There was a cute lab seated next to us, obviously a regular with his owner who had a coffee and the dog had a plate of ham!

Had Chicken Parmigiana for lunch in the apartment and then spent a very frustrating hour in the phone to both O2 and Virgin.  Our contracts have gradually been shifting from Virgin to O2 and the iPad sim switched last week so that’s all ok.  Hubby’s phone was supposed to switch on Sunday but didn’t and now a few days later he can’t receive calls or send texts and has no roaming data at all.  We phoned O2 who were hopeless so we phoned Virgin who said it was a known issue with no timescale for when it will be sorted, probably not until he gets a new O2 sim which is sitting in our letter box at home!  Mine is due to switch on the 6th so I’ll probably lose everything for the remainder of the holiday making trying to use the phone as a satnav impossible.  At least I have the iPad which is working properly so at a push hubby can set up the maps and provide directions for me to return the car to the airport.  It’s not a huge issue, just annoying as our timing for this trip wasn’t the best!
