Out of reach!

The sun didn't break through till the middle of the afternoon but once the white clouds dispersed it was as hot as ever.

This heron was flying around the Maxwell Park pond even settling on the water for a cool down paddle. Then it was up into the tree where it had the best view.  I didn't spy any youngsters but the reeds round the pond are so thick it is very easy to find a hiding place away from prying eyes.
