Déja Vu?

Remarkably similar to yesterday's shot, but a completely different church! After a morning of working on the polytunnel, we headed over to visit the remarkably intact Tullibardine Collegiate Church. Basically collegiate churches were a way for the wealthy to prove their devotion to god, but throwing a bit of cash at him... Okay, that's over-simplified, but it's an interesting concept.

I might not be religious in any way whatsoever, but these little, almost-forgotten, snatches of history, especially in peaceful and beautiful surroundings, are ridiculously interesting - from the ancient gravestones, to the mason's marks on the stones of the building itself.
