Buzz in the garden

I had a busy morning baking for the market, but also had a nice wander round the garden. There’s a few more flowers every day and the bumblebee likes this iris. She was almost disappearing down the throat of the flower in search of nectar. The Aquilegia didn’t attract her at all. There are just a few worker bumblebees around, they seem very late. I think that must be due to the cold average temperatures, particularly at night. No sign of any rain in the forecast either.
