The First Flower

I know not everyone has been fortunate enough to enjoy the fine weather, but even clear blue skies and warm temperatures have a downside. Today the combination of sunshine and school holidays meant the roads were very busy, people were acting erratically and seaside car parks were full. I thought I would find something of interest to blip whilst I was out during the day, but it was not to be. Instead, I took this image late this afternoon of one of the cacti on my window sill. I have seen cacti for sale with flowers, but this was the first one of this type I have had which has flowered. Nothing exceptional, but  one of the highlights of my day!
