Everyday I Write The Book

Margaret Attwood, Elif Shafak and Douglas Stuart discussing the work of Salman Rushdie and in particular his latest novel Victory City, which is sure to be a front runner for the Booker Prize this year.  Very good session preceded by a zoom interview with the man himself.

Other sessions today were Ha-Joon Chang, economist (who I later managed to grab for a 1:1)  and Patterson Joseph, another Booker contender who is an actor and novelist.

In between  times we had a lovely picnic by the river and hung out in Hay for a while.

Very good day.
