Ahoy there....

Went to the Royal Madras Yacht Club at Marina Beach for an informal dinner and cocktails. Sounds more glamorous than it was - especially since the air was a heady mixture of 'poo river' and the sea air. Interesting to hear about the children who are avid sailors and destined for various international races. Some are even tipped for the Olympics in 2008 & 2012. Must keep an eye out....
