One Street: Blipbear in Fairhaven
Blipbear did so well with his American History lesson yesterday that we decided he needed a special treat today, so while Kiwi had a lie-in, Phil and I took Blipbear to Fairhaven for breakfast at the Harris Avenue Cafe. We were there just as the cafe opened (8 a.m.) and had the same window seat as these two women in one of my earlier One Street blips.
I took a photo of Blipbear with his plate of egg, bacon, fried potatoes, and toast, but thought this snap of him at the Fairhaven Fish & Chips bus was a more meaningful image for this historic part of Bellingham -- and I liked Blipbear's imitation of the "old salt" with an outstretched arm.
You can see this iconic bus in a wider context here. How I wish we'd had that sunshine today, instead of more cold and wet weather!
